Camp Thunderbird provides Outdoor Education programs for children, youth, or adults who want to learn and play in the outdoors. Visits are all-inclusive, meaning we take care of the programming, meals and accommodation. For BC K-12 learners, programs are aligned to meet the BC curriculum. At Camp Thunderbird, Big Ideas, competencies and content are lived and experienced through deep connections to the outdoors.
Camp Thunderbird has a dynamic staff team of trained instructors who provide outdoor adventure, teambuilding, leadership, and environmental education experiences. Nestled in the Sooke foothills we offer day programs and 1-4 night overnight programs for schools, groups like scouts and community centres, and home-schoolers. Camp Thunderbird can provide an outdoor experience for everyone.
