Open Gym Guidelines & Practices

  • All play is to be recreational in nature and welcoming of all persons and abilities.
  • Shirts are to be worn at all times. Please change in the changeroom.


Pickleball combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis for a fun and easy-to-learn game for all ages! The gymnasium is set up with a single court in the centre of the space with lots of room for an active game. Only one registration is required for the entire group.

Rec Sports

Need a space to practice your pickleball basics, play badminton, or get a small game going? Pickleball nets and a small assortment of sports equipment will be available for use during this time with 2 beginner-friendly pickleball courts for use.

This program is a shared space program where up to 2 groups can use the space at the same time and each group will have use of half of the gymnasium.

Only one registration is required for the entire group. Groups larger than 4 people may register for both spaces.
