REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICIES

Advanced Aquatics, Fitness Leadership Programs, Workshops and Children/Youth Programs

Cancellations must be made by email to Registration Services registration@vancouverislandy.ca 7 days (168hrs) before the start of the course to receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days (168hrs) before the start of the course will be refunded less an administration fee of 40% of the full fee.

Transfer requests (moving to another offering of the same course/program) must be made by email to Registration Services registration@vancouverislandy.ca 7 days (168hrs) before the start of the course.  Transfer requests made within 7 days (168hrs) will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed to be accommodated. If a transfer request is granted and a subsequent cancellation of the new course is requested, a refund will be issued less an administration fee of 40% of the full fee.

Private (& Semi Private) Swim Lessons/Personal Coaching/Small Group Training

No refunds will be provided for cancellations except medical refunds (see below).

Make-up lessons/sessions will only be available when participant is required to miss a scheduled lesson/session due to illness with COVID 19 symptoms; only two lessons/sessions per set can be re-scheduled. Re-scheduled lessons/sessions are not guaranteed to be available during day/time of missed lesson/session.

Course Materials/Manuals

There are no refunds for course materials or manuals once they have been provided to a participant.

Insufficient Registration

Courses/workshops cancelled by the Y due to insufficient registration will receive a full refund.

Medical Refunds

Cancellations will not be refunded after a course begins unless a medical note is provided; the refund will be pro-rated.
