Reservation Info

Your Island Y uses a mobile app which allows members to make their required reservations to visit the Y. As we transition to Step 3 of BC’s Restart Plan members are still required to make a reservation up to 48 hours in advance to attend the Y. During high volume times, we ask that you limit your workout to 1 hour. During quiet times you are welcome to stay over the 1 hour time frame.  Reservations are limited to 1 per day for a class or to the Fitness Centre or Pool facilities to ensure that all members have an opportunity to participate at their Y.

Please note that you should purchase your membership first, then proceed with downloading the app. There is a delay between the two systems and may take up to 1 hour for your membership to appear in the app.

Allow notifications during your app installation to receive push notifications for changes to schedules and other important information.

If you had a membership before the pandemic (March 2020) your membership was cancelled.  Please rejoin.

If you do not have a device that can use our new app there are 2 other options to make your Required Reservation to come to the Y.  Use our interactive online schedules or give us a call.

Please ensure you have signed on to the Y’s Online Service Portal and purchased a Y membership first.  Without a membership you will be unable to make reservations.  Once you have purchased your membership it may take up to 60 minutes for the app to sync with the membership system.

After you have purchased your membership, download the new Y mobile app.  There is a 30-60 minute delay from the time of purchase so the app and our registration software can synch together.  If you try to use the app before purchasing a membership you will not be successful.
