PERSONAL COACHING
Do you have specific goals you want assistance working to achieve? Why not try working with one of the Y’s awesome personal coaches!
Personal Coaching is available to Y members to work one-on-one with a qualified personal coach for a pre-determined number of sessions. Within each 50-minute visit, coaches and members will work together to create a workout plan to help the member meet their fitness goals.
Personal Coaching sessions are for current Y members, and registration is required.
Members have the option of booking a semi- private Personal Coaching session. The member booking Personal Coaching is responsible for registering the second participant and ensuring they are present for sessions.

This 30-minute session is available for all members ages 13+ who are new to working out and/or new to the Y facility. The orientation focuses on gym etiquette, the basics of setting up and using weight machines and cardio equipment, and helpful tips and pointers on how to make workouts safe and effective. No personal exercise is prescribed in this session.
Fitness Orientations are for current Y members, registration is required from the Online Calendar.
SMALL GROUP TRAINING
Small Group Training – Functional Mobility and Core
Join our Functional Mobility & Core Small Group Training classes designed to enhance your overall joint mobility, flexibility, strength and body control. This class features dynamic and static stretching exercises targeting key areas such as the ankles, hips, thoracic spine, and shoulders, improving your range of motion and functional movement. This class also focuses on core stability to build a strong and resilient trunk, essential for maintaining proper posture and balance. Perfect for anyone looking to boost their mobility, flexibility, and core strength in a supportive environment.
Small Group Training
High intensity, full body strength and conditioning class which focuses training on speed, strength, power, agility and overall athletic development. Training combines use of barbells, kettlebells, weighted sled, TRX, battle ropes and more. Delivered in a focused, 8 person class environment where hard work and fun is guided in equal measure by a knowledgeable, certified Fitness Trainer. Open to all fitness levels – not recommended for beginners.

This 8-week beginner friendly course will teach you the basics of barbell squats, deadlifts, bench press, and overhead press. This course will also focus on dynamic warm-ups that improve mobility and stability which will help prime you for these lifts. You’ll receive a 4 day/week strength training program on the first day which will include the 4 main lifts as well as assistance exercises to build a well balanced, strong body. The goal at the end of the 8 weeks is to get you feeling confident doing this training program on your own. With a maximum of 4 participants you’ll get a more personalized experience, and the main focus will be on ensuring impeccable technique is used.
Intro to Powerlifting is for current Y members, registration is required.
